I'm bothered that people are struggling to pay their grocery bills and have every reason to worry about whether they can keep a roof over their heads. Many of these people are the ones keeping the lights on in our communities across our country. I sense the fragility of peace in our present moment.

Imagine a world where everyone could afford to take a day off. The only way this future could come about is if those who can afford to take two days off make it possible for everyone to have one. We would need to take only what we need and relearn how to live life.

Someday, in the early 22nd century, this head will wake up on a pillow in a very different world than the one we're living in today. It is possible that in that time, people may be facing similar challenges to the ones we're facing today. Perhaps even a worldwide pandemic.
